Huge congratulations to Royal Holloway Business and Management (Year in Business) student, Connor Griffiths, for reaching the Finals of the Targetjobs Management Undergraduate of the Year Award sponsored by Enterprise Rent-a-Car. The finals were held in Canary Wharf on Friday 20th April, hosted by Rachel Riley of Countdown fame. While Connor did not win the actual award it was a massive achievement to get through to the Final-over 3300 students applied for the 12
different awards
The Targetjobs Management Undergraduate of the Year Award was awarded to "An outstanding Management student with an aptitude for Customer Service and Sales, Flexibility, Leadership, a strong work ethic and great communication skills"
Connor said " It was amazing
to be a part of the Management Undergraduate of the year awards. I met
some great like minded people and contacts in other applicants and also members
of staff at Enterprise Rent-a-Car who sponsored this Award. I have learnt so much throughout the application
process. In particular how to tackle an assessment centre and also how to
network (something I’ve never really done before and found very daunting)."
