Speed Recruitment event 2018

On Monday evening our School of Management Year in Business students came out to talk to a number of companies at our Speed Recruitment style event. I would like to express a huge thank you to the representatives from Enterprise Rent-a-Car, EY, Gain Credit, NetApp, PiXL and Richard Davies Investor Relations who joined us at Royal Holloway.

We were particularly pleased to see current Royal Holloway YIBs who are out on placement back in College talking about their company placement schemes. Kane Nelhams is doing his placement with Enterprise as a Management trainee at the Slough branch and Mae Wang is doing a Project Management placement at NetApp.

Small groups of students moved around the room every 8 minutes talking to different companies about the range of placements available and seeing if there was a suitable match.They heard about a range of positions including Accountancy (Tax, Audit, Assurance), Marketing, Market Analysis, Wealth Management, Finance, Management training, Project Management and IT support.

It was good to see the students' enthusiasm to secure a placement and to hear positive feedback from the Companies about the students they talked to and the types of questions they had been asked.

Last year a number of our YIBs secured placements on the back of attending a similar event and we do hope the students this year are equally successful. Do let us know!
