About Us…

Enterprise Holdings is a family-owned, world-class portfolio of brands. A global network that covers more than 90 countries, with 100,000 dedicated team members, and more than 1.9 million vehicles taking customers wherever they want or need to go.

How did we get here? The fact is, we owe our success to each and every one of our people. We empower everyone on our team with opportunities for promotion and growth. Our mission, along with our uncompromising commitment to customers, has made Enterprise a genuine success story and a truly special place to work.

Where can you go?

We believe it’s all about getting started as soon as possible – and that’s exactly what our 12-month placement offers. We believe go-getters learn by doing – not by making tea or filing papers. By joining Enterprise, you’ll discover this for yourself. On day one, you’ll start to gain new experiences and develop business and leadership skills. And while you’re busy learning and earning, we’ll make sure your efforts are recognised and rewarded.

What makes the perfect Management Trainee?

At Enterprise you’ll need to be comfortable balancing business-minded entrepreneurialism with the empathy and care needed to understand and meet each and every customer’s requirements. If you are motivated by identifying and engaging with customers’ needs and can deliver new and creative approaches to attracting new business, then this is the business for you.

Along with an aptitude for sales, team work and ability to deliver excellent customer service, our team show genuine appreciation for the hard work of others. There’s nothing we love more than someone who can motivate the people around them while gaining the loyalty and support of a team through an inclusive and inspirational style of leadership.

Ask yourselves – do I have a “yes” mentality? Am I driven by the desire to achieve results? If the answer to both these questions is yes, then a career with Enterprise beckons.

We’ll get you all kinds of new experiences.

What will you do as an intern at one of our 450 branches across the UK?

You’ll get to find out what it’s like working with us, and gain all kinds of new experiences to put on your CV. As you do so, we’ll be considering whether we’re a good match for each other, too – seeing whether we  share the same kind of values, enthusiasm, and ambition.

Based in one of our branches, you’ll get hands-on experience from the word go, learning all the business skills that will enable you to manage your own branch one day. The business training includes:

  • Management skills: leadership, training, mentoring, people skills
  • Business management: cost control, profits, growth, account management, employee development
  • Marketing: how to gain new customers
  • Sales: how to increase revenue by generating more sales
  • Customer service: taking reservations, handling customer enquiries, problem solving
Learn. Earn. Get your career off to a great start.

Since you’ll be tackling the same challenges as those on our graduate programme, it’s only fair that you get to enjoy the same benefits too, including opportunities to be promoted. Your starting salary will be £18,500. What’s more, you will be eligible for performance bonuses, incentives, and employee referral awards.

A few key traits and skills we look for….

  • Current and valid UK/EU manual driver’s license
  • Experience with customers and working in a face-to-face customer environment
  • Good work ethic and ability to work independently and as a team
  • Great communication skills and ability to adapt communication style
  • Problem solving and initiative driven
  • Salary - £18,500
  • Locations across the London & South-East
